What You’ll Do
Working within the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
Assisting the financial reporting team in the preparation/consolidation of it's month-end financial statements,
Collaborate in process improvement initiatives, including formalization of control procedures for selected cycles
Collaborate in special integration projects, including ERP implementation and mapping admin system dependencies
Performing various ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Sitting-in and experiencing financial and operational business meetings
Preparing and presenting and "project report" to the entire finance team at the end of the internship
Qualified candidates would junior year college students studying Accounting or a similar field.
What We’re Looking For
Graduating Winter 2023 or Spring 2024
June 2023 start date
Accounting or Finance major with plans to pursue a career in accounting
A demonstrated track record of success academically or in prior internships, with experience proactively taking ownership of important projects
Intellectual curiosity with a desire to work with large data sets and compelling business challenges
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Scrappy, tenacious, and self-motivated
BUT - also a team player with no ego, a competitive spirit, and great sense of humor
Passionate about working in a dynamic, fast-paced, performance-driven environment
A steady desire and commitment to get better every day
