What You Can Expect In This Position
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, performs assigned tasks and/or projects related to the area-specific internship. Our 10 - week summer internships are designed to provide hands-on, project-based experience in various areas of our business.
What You Will Do
The Versiti Finance Internship provides an overview to various aspects of the Finance function. This internship will give exposure to financial support and analysis, and other accounting activities supporting Versiti’s mission of enhancing and saving lives. You will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business while being coached and mentored by various finance team members.
This internship is designed to help you gain professional and diverse experience through a hands-on approach with a multi-state finance and accounting department. This team offers long lasting career learning, which reaches into a broad spectrum of educational backgrounds and studies.

Job Duties
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Maintains the customer service standards of the department and Versiti.
Communicates clearly and respectfully with customers, donors, and colleagues, sharing all necessary information.
Works effectively with team members, contributing to team efforts.
Supports Versiti’s mission, vision, and values as well as department goals and objectives.
Qualifications
What you will need:
***All new employees must obtain primary Covid-19 vaccination (single dose Johnson & Johnson or 2 dosages of Pfizer/Moderna/Novavax) prior to start date or have an approved accommodation prior to their start date. ***
Education
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program in a related field of the internship.
Experience
Completed a minimum of 2 years in college/university in a related field of study for the internship preferred
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Skills And Knowledge
Effective communication skills
Ability to be customer-focused and follow through on requests promptly
Strong organizational skills
Ability to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignments
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Demonstrates keen attention to detail
When you will work?
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship, working Monday-Friday. The internship will begin on June 5 th
