Position Summary
Virgin Orbit is searching for superhero Interns who stand strong in the face of complex challenges. As an Intern, you will work with the entire company, work alongside the brightest in the industry, and help shape the future of Virgin Orbit! We’ll bring the rockets, you bring a great work ethic, a love for space, and your credibility. These are 12-week long internships in the summer of 2023 and we have multiple engineering/technical positions available in our two rocket factories in Long Beach, California and in Mojave, California.
We have multiple technical internships available within aerospace engineering, manufacturing, design, test, and so much more!

Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher) and community involvement in a Junior or Senior class standing

Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited university, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any STEM related discipline
A top-notch education including formal training, awards, internship experience, high GPA, a top of class student
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience leading and managing complex projects across various stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and with ‘on the spot’ priority situations in a quick and effective manner
Passion for space exploration and a firm belief in the utility of affordable access to space
Salary Range
$23 - $30 (may include housing when applicable)
