AWARD INFORMATION
High school seniors who want to attend college who have had really excellent academic and athletic careers as well as whose personal values (such as integrity, honesty, etc.) and achievements serve as an inspiration to others are required. Candidates must have played at the varsity level in California for at least two years to have proven their athletic prowess (must have participated or planned to participate in athletics as a senior). Athletes of character must also depict themselves as embodying the Six Pillars of Character: dependability, respect, responsibility, fairness, compassion, and citizenship.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
