AWARD INFORMATION
Full-time undergraduate Engineering Technology students pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in a program that has historically served as a foundation for the HVAC&R profession are eligible for one-year scholarships. Candidates must achieve at least one of the following requirements in order to be qualified: they must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a scale where 4.0 is the highest; they must also rank in the top 30% of their class. The program is accredited by the Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA), www.pahrahvacr.org, or by an organization outside of the United States that is a signatory to the Accreditation Council for Engineering and Technology (ABET), www.abet.org.official grade transcript Transcript needs to be sent in a unique, sealed envelope. The use of photocopies is not permitted. Three letters of recommendation with signatures are required: one from a professor or faculty adviser; one from a current or former employment; and one from a character reference (other than a family member).
