AWARD INFORMATION
The Eunice Fiorito Scholarship is available to students majoring in disability services or advocacy. The applicant is required to provide a certification of legal blindness from a physician, optometrist, or ophthalmologist as part of the requirement. A person is considered legally blind if their best eye's vision cannot be corrected to 20/200 or if their best eye's visual field cannot be corrected to 20 degrees or more at its widest width. Additionally, two independent letters of recommendation from an employer, career counselor, or teacher, either recent or current, are required. Applications can be filed online for the 2022–2023 academic year between Monday, November 1, 2021, and Monday, February 14, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
