AWARD INFORMATION
A Marine Corps Tank Battallion veteran who is currently serving in the active duty, reserve, honorably discharged, or retired ranks is required to be the child, grandchild, or guardian of applicants.Any scholarship that is given must have a sponsor who is a Marine Corps Tankers Association member.Application requirements include that the applicant be a high school senior planning to graduate by June of the application year, have applied to an accredited academic junior college, college, or university, or be a student enrolled full-time in at least 12 semester units or equivalent quarter units.The number of prizes given out and their monetary value depend on the donations the MCTA has received and the money it has available.There will be at least $2000 in scholarships.Examining your position as a full-time student, your standing with the school, your official transcript, two letters of recommendation, and your extracurricular and school activities are all part of the process.
