Carleton College’s Summer Quantitative Reasoning Institute is a one-of-a-kind program that combines the discipline of economics with those of political science, international relations, and psychology. This unique combination was put together with the idea that “statistics […] is the language of public policy,” and one must understand quantitative data to support one’s argument and evaluate those of others — a skill necessary to success in the business world.
